When a blogger receives an award it is always a matter beyond feelings of pride. It means your writing is read and recognised by a fellow writer who considers your writing to be worthy of recognition.Delight and happy smiles take over. Your whole being is bathed in an aura of gratitude, humility, and an enormous amount of (much needed) encouragement. |
As a recipient of this award I need to fulfil certain obligations. They are:
- Thank the person who nominated me and link back to them in my post.
- Share 7 things about me.
- Nominate 15 other bloggers.
- Leave a comment on their blogs letting them know that they have been nominated.
This award was given to me by Maloquacious.wordpress.com. I love being taken to Hawaii with her and seeing life as it happens in that oceanic paradise. Her stories are uplifting and full of joy.
The 7 things about me are:
1) I love movies; they are my favorite form of entertainment, with or without popcorn.
2) I am happy at Farmers’ Markets. I can’t understand how farmers grow those wonderful crops without the intervention of animal pests. They do and I can’t so I leave the job to them.
3) I love what yoga is doing for me and my body, but admit that sometimes in the midst of a session I long for it to be over.
4) I feel cold most of the time and don’t understand the concept of winter sports. Winter is for hibernating, not jumping around in the snow.
5) Today my husband and I began the first day of a Master Gardener program. Soon I’ll know what every plant is, how to take care of it and how to get rid of any critter that attacks it.
6) Blogging is great fun: nobody edits your work, tells you what to write about or rejects your work. And you make some wonderful blogging friends.
7) Is a lucky number, and I wish you all good luck.
The 15 bloggers I would like to nominate are:
1) Bulldogsturf
2) Paperkeeper
3) Cyclingrandma
4) Earthrider
5) LindaVernon
6) Boomerontario
7) Mostlybrightideas
8) Czechtheflip
9) 365fromthe archive
10) Liferevelation
11) Foodfashionandflow
12) Gardentowok
13) Bloodinkdiary
14) AndnowthatIthinkaboutit
15) Violetsyi

I like your sixth and seventh random. I also think 7 is a lucky number. Also…there is this thing about blogging which I agree too: you’re the admin and publisher. Congrats, Ronnie. Your blog is worth following.
Wonderful! Happy blogging
Thank you for your encouraging comment.
CONGRATULATION ON YOUR AWARD! Thank you for visiting my blog.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
It was a lovely honor. Thanks for your congrats; I enjoyed reading your blog too.
Congrats on the award, and thank you for introducing us to other bloggers. Thanks, also, for commenting on my site. This is my first visit to your blog. It’s a gem and worthy of the spotlight.
Thank you, Deb; you’re award are not far behind.
You deserved to have it my friend 🙂
Thanks, Jake. I appreciate your comment.
I was just at the Farmer’s Market this afternoon and was thinking the very same thing. I tried a garden one year and I got two cantalopes both of with had absolutely NO flavor. It was weird. I think I need to go to a Gardeners Master Class. Good for you for doing yoga. I used to but it’s been so long I don’t even remember why I quit. And I agree wholeheartedly about blogging! And thanks for nominating me, Ronnie! 😀
You’re so welcome, Linda. Thanks for all the outrageously funny blogs you write!
Congrations Ronnie ! Looking forward to read more your post❤
Glad to have you aboard!
Congrats on the blog award. Nothing nicer, in my opinion, than someone complimenting your writing!
Enjoy the Master Gardener classes. I am an MG. I made some great now long-time friends while taking the course.
Thanks, Darlene. What did you do as community service in return for the gardening courses?
Ronnie ! Thank you so much for nominating my blog. Coming from such a wonderful writer and woman like you is, indeed, an honour. I must admit to be rather lazy about awards and its’ formality, so pls bear a few days (on weekend) for me to buckle down and accept it in proper way.
And, so great to read the 7 things about you — yoga shall do wonders in time, i have been doing it for some time now, though the initial process can be difficult, howsoever, it shall be the best thing in time ! Much love, Shaheen
Thanks for the encouraging words, Shaheen. Best of luck in your writing your beautiful poetry.
Thanks, darling girl ! And, all my best to you always.
Oh I know what you mean about the cold!! envy you your master gardener classes, what a treat! c
Thanks, Celi; maybe some day I will know a tenth of all you know!
Thank you, Ronnie, for the kind words about me… Ah, yes, I travel the world through my blog! And I totally agree with you on No.6 – “Blogging is great fun: nobody edits your work, tells you what to write about or rejects your work. And you make some wonderful blogging friends.” Here’s to friendship.. Cheers!
That’s good top remember when people ask what you do, and when you say you write, expect a best selling author in their midst.
When I think of the word “lov-er-ly,” you naturally come to mind. Congratulations on your “One Lovely Blog Award.” It’s well deserved. I’ve enjoyed your stories and am glad to have been a part of your journey.
Thank you also for nominating me. I’m working on my acceptance speech as we speak and on bestowing this lovely award to others.
Thanks, Judy; I enjoy your writing a great deal, and wish you luck in the future.
Thanks! Working on the paying it forward part.
Great, Lisa, I’ll be waiting to see what comes of that!
Ronnie..thank you so very much for including me on this impressive list of bloggers!! I am so glad to be connected to you here in blogland!
It is part of the joy of blogging. It’s good to get to read your writing, Bonnie: I enjoy it “muchly.”
Thank you so very “muchly”. That means the world to me, really it does! 🙂
Congratulations Ronnie – It was a pleasure meeting with you at the conference.
Thanks, Prachi; i look forward to reading your writing too.
Congrats, Ronnie–well deserved. Soon you can teach us how we too can become masters of our gardens!
Ah, Lisa, you can count on your gardening spouse for all things earthly.
I’ve always wanted to take the Master Gardener class, but that will have to wait until I’m retired. I’m glad I’ll know a Master Gardener personally 🙂
I’ll share whatever info you need to keep things alive and thriving. Just send me a leaf of something in trouble and I will diagnose it. In about six years.
Congrats!
Thanks so much!
It is beautiful to know…! You’ve really got one lovely blog over here and truly deserve this award. Congratulations! I love the fact about blogging, that nobody has to approve or condemn your work. Nobody tells you what to write about or how to construct your phrases… That’s true freedom of expression. Great concept, you are worth much!
Thank you; I totally agree with your comment about blogging. Aren’t we all lucky to have found this way to write and have our work read and commented on?
Master Gardener classes, wow! Envious! ;D
Thanks, Bela. If you have any questions about your garden just ask; I’ll have some experts on hand.
Cool! Thanks Ronnie! Enjoy your Fall 😉
