True stories with a twist!

About

I have taken on the role of cheering up the world and serving as its ambassador of good will. My writing is about every day occurrences with a dose of my own logic and sense of humor.

Everyone is saturated with the bad news we hear and read every day, so I offer the other side of the spectrum. It’s a lot more fun.

  1. I like the attitude! Thanks for following my blog.

  2. I always vote for the less serious. Thanks for following and remember I write fiction. I also can’t stand to be serious. Maybe you’ll find that out if you come back.

  3. Hi Ronnie. Just followed your blog. Looks like a very upbeat place! My late step-father was born and raised in Morristown. I myself have lived in New Jersey twice. High school in Ridgewood and then early in my marriage, Cherry Hill.

Thanks for following my blog. Hope you will get used to my sardonic humor, it’s definitely an acquired taste. But I occasionally write a serious post, usually about family.

  4. A worthy goal – good for you !

  5. I have a wife of 52 years and two grown daughters, I share your writings with them when this old remembering system pulls it out of the great abyss. My early years were Exit 3 & 5 , NJTPK geographically. That poor fish, back to the big tank in the store.

  6. I nominated you for The Mystery Blogger Award! ❤ Check my blog for details, please!!

  7. Hi, I lived in Morristow for many years. Your name seem familiar but am not sure I met you. But I love the idea of blogging just to add joy, inspiration and humor to the world. Nice to find you. hugs, pat

  8. What a role! All the best!

  9. Ronnie, It gives me great pleasure in giving you The Sister of the World Blogger Award Love and Blessings

  13. Hurray for you. I also try to celebrate what I notice that can contribute energy and good cheer to the world — as you say, we all see/hear/are saturated with enough that is toxic, we need to engage with good stuff as well.

I find your blog a breath of fresh air. Much needed, in the grim world we live in. I’ve received the Sisterhood of the World Blogging Award, and want to pass it on to you. It is the subject of my blog post tomorrow (Sunday). The rules are simple, as you’ll see. Answer the same questions I did, and nominate some of your favourite bloggers.

  22. thank you so much for stopping by my blog!

  23. Hello Ronnie,
My first visit to your site and it was great. You need your own news network (ie. CNN, FOX, Ronnie’s News). The whole world could use a dose of what you do here. It was lighthearted, fun to read, good news (mostly), vs war, murder, rape, robery……ad infinitum. I’ll be back to visit often.
    Paul

  30. We write about many of the same topics. And we’re neighbors!
Hope you check out some of my posts.

  31. Thanks for liking my fashion post! Love your bumble bee!

  32. Hi Ronnie. I like your positive view of life and your easy style of writing. Don’t think you have to worry much about what is appropriate to wear, though. What we wear is sort of a signal to others, of where are head and heart are, and it probably just helps us make contact with like minded people.

  33. It seems that we now have our very own resident eternal optimist amongst us in WordPress. Keep up the good work!

  34. I have nominated you for One Lovely Blog Award. Looking forward to learning 7 things about you!

  35. I love this blog! More positive thinking and writing. Great job and thank you for being an ambassador of good will! :).

  36. Couldn’t agree more with your last paragraph.

It remains a major motivator behind my blog too. I think we are surrounded by so much seriousness that we find it incredibly difficult to laugh.

A Pied Piper of humour is a rarity, much needed today! Keep up the good work. 🙂

  37. Hi Ronnie, At last I am here to say Hello to you, and I say Thank you for cheering the world up with your light hearted look at everyday events.. I agree there is far too much negative news out in this world.. You have a lovely light and bright feel place to visit and I will enjoy looking around and commenting.. Please forgive me if I take some of the Native American Indian ways and visit in Indian time.. 🙂 For my days are full just lately with many things And I have many places to visit.. But know too you will be nver forgotten I will come back… And thats an Promise… ~Blessings sent your way~ Sue Dreamwalker
